I have had a love for massage ever since elementary school.  As a kid, I would massage my Dad's hands and feet after he got home from a hard days work.  I learned at an early age that I really enjoyed helping people feel good!  

I have been massaging professionally since 1994.  Prior to joining The Skin Spot in 2008,  I owned and operated Wellsprings Massage Therapy & Bodywork in Seal Beach for 12 years with my twin sister.  I am insured and licensed through both the city of Huntington Beach and the CA Massage Therapy Council, certificate #145.

I describe my style of massage as therapeutic Swedish.  I use enough pressure to feel like your muscles are being worked, but not so deep that you feel like you’re getting beat up!  I don't believe that a massage has to hurt to be effective.  

I also believe it is just as important to care for our emotional and spiritual well-being as our physical health. I became certified as a level two Usui Reiki practitioner in 1997 and received my level three Reiki Master certification in 2021. I incorporate this gentle form of energy therapy into every massage to promote relaxation and to stimulate your body’s own natural healing abilities.

I want you to experience how good it feels to feel good!  As you listen to peaceful music play, allow yourself to drift into a deep meditation that relaxes your body and clears your mind.
